"Nelson's art has consistently presented itself as a means to broaden the discussion of current events and humanitarian challenges using encoded satire. In each of these paintings represented in the gallery, Nelson uses time lapsing factors of image and symbols into each painting in order that each work might reveal itself in layers, weaving a narrative for the viewer.
