Marketing Director - Kickstand Productions

Kickstand Productions is an independent concert production company based in Chicago, IL – booking, promoting, and producing over 500 shows a year. We work with venues such as Subterranean, Beat Kitchen, Durty Nellie’s, The House Café, The Castle Theatre & act as a partner in producing the annual Do Division & Wicker Park Festivals. Kickstand Productions is seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead all marketing operations for our calendar of events. The ideal candidate will be skilled in advertising, social media and graphic design. Knowledge of the local & national music scene is also a must.

This role is 50% marketing, 50% graphic design, so please only apply if you have experience with both.

Marketing Director Duties:

 - Develop & implement marketing plans for events including digital, radio, print and grassroots
   marketing efforts

 - Design & edit promotional materials

 - Manage social media accounts, ticketing & e-mail marketing initiatives

 - Engage in active dialogue with agents & artist management

 - Coordinate digital advertising campaigns through Facebook, Ticketweb, Bandsintown & more

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications: 

 - Experience with Photoshop / Illustrator required

 - Experience in social media marketing preferred

 - Excellent writing & communication skills

 - Strong attention to detail and organization skills

 - Ability to multitask & work well in a fast-paced environment

- Strong interpersonal communication skills
